PCB drilling is a key process in the entire printed circuit board production process.
Drilling takes up the longest production time, and its processing technology and manufacturing equipment level will directly affect the quality, performance and cost of the PCB (processing costs usually account for 30% to 40% of the PCB board manufacturing costs). PCB drilling mostly uses mechanical drilling and laser drilling methods. From the perspective of equipment cost and processing efficiency, more than 90% of the PCB drilling in the world currently uses CNC mechanical drilling, and laser drilling accounts for only about 10%. Therefore, CNC machine drilling is the mainstream of PCB precision drilling processing.
PCB CNC drilling machine is based on CNC technology. Through the coordinated movement of the three coordinates of X, Y, and Z, it controls the X and Y axes to move quickly and accurately to the drilling position, and the Z-axis actuator performs the drilling operation to achieve precision drilling processing. High-end CNC equipment has become the key to affecting the level of PCB manufacturing.

Low price and high cost performance have become the market winning magic weapon for domestic equipment manufacturers. Although domestic manufacturers have achieved great results in the mid- and low-end PCB CNC drilling machines and have made great progress in product functions and performance, there is still a gap between the micro-aperture processing capabilities that best reflect technical strength and the international advanced technology level, mainly reflected in processing accuracy and speed, degree of automation.
